Payment and learning-platform services

Website purchases may be processed through PayPal. DigitalChalk may process course purchases through Stripe or another payment provider. When you use a payment provider, that provider may collect and process payment information under its own privacy terms. Student account information in DigitalChalk is generally limited to account and CE-identification details such as name, address, email, National Producer Number, and license number when required for course access, completion records, certificates, and coupon redemption.

Cookies and analytics

The website and its service providers may use cookies, log files, security tools, or similar technologies to operate the site, preserve basic functionality, protect against abuse, understand website performance, and improve the customer experience. Third-party services such as PayPal, Stripe, or DigitalChalk may use their own cookies or tracking technologies when you use their services or follow links to their websites.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer information. These may include limited access to business records, reputable service providers, secure account practices, email authentication, and payment processing through established payment providers. No website, email system, or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention and recordkeeping

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, complete transactions, support customers, maintain CE and business records, resolve disputes, comply with accounting, tax, legal, regulatory, and insurance education obligations, and protect our business. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of record and the operational or legal reason for keeping it.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about personal information you have provided, request a correction, update your contact details, or ask us to stop sending non-required messages. We may need to keep certain records when required for transactions, CE reporting, dispute resolution, legal compliance, security, tax, accounting, or legitimate business purposes.

Children

Our services are intended for licensed insurance professionals, business clients, and adult learners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as our website, services, vendors, technology, legal obligations, or business practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
