Gina joined Bricker Professional Education in 2007 as the Director of Marketing. She originally hails from Salt Lake City, Utah – home of the 2002 Winter Olympics – where she attained dual Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Spanish from the University of Utah. She focused her studies in the non-profit sector and completed internships with Red Butte Garden and the Utah Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Through her studies, Gina was able to experience the joy of travel, completing study abroad programs in Nicaragua and Chile. She was selected as the Outstanding Scholar from the 2002 graduating class for excellence in academics.
Currently, Gina is pursuing her love of education and knowledge as a graduate student in the Information School at the University of Washington. She is working toward a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and is especially interested in information literacy and information technology. She hopes to share her passion for knowledge with others and to help them gain the skills necessary to pursue life long learning and to achieve their personal and professional goals.
In her down time, Gina enjoys running, cooking (especially chocolate chip cookies) and reading. She recently completed her first ultra-marathon (the Lake McMurtry Trail Run 50k) and is currently training to set a new personal record in the 5k run.
