How do I check my CE course completion transcript?
If you would like to review your current continuing education course completions and outstanding requirements, visit the Oklahoma Insurance Department - Sircon website. Select CE Transcript Inquiry at the top of the web page and be prepared to enter your Social Security number and Oklahoma insurance license number.
Can excess CE credit hours be carried forward into the next license renewal period?
Yes. Effective July 2008, a maximum of six (6) excess credit hours may be carried forward into the next license renewal period.
How long must I wait before I can re-take a CE class for credit?
You must wait at least two years beginning with the first day following the license renewal in which the CE course was taken. Yes, this is a complicated rule, so here is an example:
You take an 8-hour CE class in January 2008 and your license renews on April 30, 2008. You may not take this 8-hour course again for CE credit until May 1, 2010 - that is, for two years beginning with the first day following the license renewal (May 1, 2008) after the course was completed.
